How do I proceed if I want to book an apartment?
Click on the Button «Book Apartment». Choose the criteria according to your wishes and you will receive the matching offers. Click on the desired offer and you will arrive at the booking and payment process. After your payment you will receive a confirmation of reservation as well as your voucher by e-mail.
How do I pay for my reservation?
For reasons of administration, payment on site is not possible unfortunately. We can only accept bookings if the fees are paid in advance by credit card or bank transfer. The confirmation of reservation is officially valid and guarantees the completion of the services paid for.
Can I cancel a reservation?

Who is making their apartments available?
Basel is a very hectic city during the large international fairs. Many inhabitants use this period for a vacation and make their apartments available for an adequate fee.
Before, during and after the renting
Arrival
During fairs, parking for private vehicles is very limited. For that reason we recommend that you arrive in Basel by public transport. Please contact us directly for parking options.
How does the handing-over of the apartment work?
Check-in is handled at the front desk of Hotel Basilisk (right by the fair). You will receive the keys to your apartment as well as your mobility-ticket (free use of tram and bus) when you show us your voucher. Transfer from check-in to your apartment is included in our services.
What services are not included in the price?
As a matter of principle, we guarantee you an offer that is specific to the needs and wishes of fair visitors and exhibitors. Optionally, you can book a breakfast service (which you can also order when you arrive in Basel).

Getting Around
Basel has a very well established public transport system with tram and bus. You can reach the important locations in the city within only a few minutes. For the free use of public transport you will receive a mobility-ticket valid for the duration of your stay.
Does the regular occupant have access to the apartment during the term of lease?
It may be that the regular occupant has to take care of or get something due to an unforeseen event. After consulting BASELLODGING he or she can gain access to your apartment. However, we are anxious to prevent this from happening. Since most of the occupants are on holiday during your stay, this will hardly be the case anyway.
